Deal DONE: Chelsea Completes The Signing Of Real Madrid Star

Mateo Kovačić has formally completed his permanent move to Chelsea from Real Madrid, signing a five-year contract.

The Croatian playmaker spent last season on loan at Stamford Bridge and had a key impact in their journey to Europa League glory.

There had been recommendations that Kovačić could remain with Los Blancos after his great performances in England, however that isn’t the situation, with the Liga side revealing through an statement that the 25-year-old has returned to west London in a permanent deal.

Addressing the official Chelsea site, he stated: “I truly enjoyed the most of my season on loan with Chelsea, I feel great at the club and like London and the Premier League definitely. I am glad to have the option to join Permanently.

“We had an effective year, winning the Europa League and I trust I can make a major commitment in the coming seasons.”

Chelsea FC can only sign players on loan as they have been banned from registering a new player this season.

Mateo Kovacic was impressive in Europa league last season, helping his team to achieve unbelievable success which earns him a move to Chelsea Permanently.

Lucas Piazon

Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon has come out to the media to speak about his future with the club, claiming his time with the Blues is already over. Which he said just a few days after penning down a new contract which will last till 2022.

In his Chelsea career, Lucas Piazon has been sent on loan seven times and he will be spending the rest of his 2019/20 campaign with Portuguese club Rio Ave.

Back when the Stamford Bridge outfit beat Juventus to sign him for £10m in 2011, Piazon was highly regarded as the “new Kaka” following his impressive display in the U-17 World Cup.

Despite being tagged to be a future prospect back in 2011, Piazon’s career has not gone exactly the everybody thought it would. Rio Ave has acquired his services on a two-year loan right after extending his contract with the Blues.

The Brazil-born, who can be deployed as a striker or as a winger, now claimed that his career at the Stamford Bridge is over.

Speaking to Portuguese outlet, A Bola, he said via The Sun: “My time at Chelsea is already over. I’m 25, I’ve been on loan several times.

“I’ve been at Chelsea since 2011, I’ve been on loan almost all over Europe.

“I’m tired of playing here and there, I need a place where I can feel at home.

“I want to know that in July I will return to the same place, to the same house.

“I’d have a good season on loan, but I’d come back and was soon loaned again.

“There was no point in going out on loan, playing well, coming back, not being used and being loaned again.

“There comes a time in your career that makes no sense anymore.

“By the way, I said exactly that three years ago and it didn’t go so well at Chelsea, it generated some discomfort.”

Right after the sale of Tomas Kalas to Bristol City this summer, Lucas Piazon is now Chelsea longest-serving player and has only registered one Premier League appearance for the club.

How Chelsea Hit the Jackpot When They Signed the French star

It’s been a long time since Chelsea signed N’Golo Kante from Leicester City, and it’s be reasonable to say that the move has gone really well for both the Blues and the Frenchman.

Kante’s won another Premier League title, won the FA Cup and lifted the Europa League trophy since moving to Stamford Bridge.

Also the little matter of Chelsea’s number seven playing an essential role in France’s World Cup winning squad in 2018 – ‘allez les bleus’ to be sure.

Shockingly, for a club like Chelsea, with a history of spending the money on blockbuster signings, Kante came to London for a stunningly little sum. With Kante’s former Leicester teammate Danny Drinkwater costing Chelsea £35m, and Riyad Mahrez going to Man City for £60m, Kante’s transfer fee of £32m appears as though it’s feeling the loss of an additional zero on the end.

Kante’s capacity would without a doubt see him stroll into any and each and every top European club.

At the point when a central defensive midfielder can finish 11th in the Ballon d’Or, you realize he’s the real deal.

This is genuinely interesting for Chelsea, even with the likes of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois wearing the blue shirt as of late, their ability was consistently become tied up with inquiry by opposing fans.

Some way or another, Kante has figured out how to rise over these club contentions and is apparently respected by anybody with an adoration for the excellent game.

Kante’s price-tag should definitely be viewed as the best deal of the Premier League period. Notwithstanding his indefatigable workrate and protective abilities, at that point for his straightforward frame of mind that will without a doubt see him go down as a Chelsea extraordinary.

As just the ninth player to win the Premier League with two clubs, Kante has the genuine potential as going down as one of the greats, this surely isn’t hurt by his worldwide triumphs either.

Above all in any case, Kante’s situation as a defensive midfielder is one that is frequently held by more seasoned players and fortunately for Kante being at the time of only 28, he has a lot more long periods of playing to come.

Despite the fact that the Frenchman was kept from playing in his standard position and style under Maurizio Sarri, new Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will more likely than not reestablish Kante’s job as a defensive midfielder.

This will be incredible news to the two fans and Kante alike, with last season’s further developed role in the midfield only bringing the World Cup champ four goals and four assists.

With Kante’s deal as of now running until 2023, Chelsea fans will be euphoric about having the option to watch the little Frenchman do something amazing at Stamford Bridge for a long time to come.
