Sarri, the man on fire

Maurizio Sarri’s future at Chelsea is at risk as consistent bad results have continued to trail the coaches’ less than a year stay in England with a sudden dramatic drop in form and failure to achieve positive results across has left a number of his players concerned that his football philosophy whilst also some ex players and team legend are finding it difficult to explain the reason for this.

Chelsea’s main priority for the season is to qualify for next term’s Champions League competition, but an embarrassing 6-0 defeat away to Manchester City last weekend was wildly spread across newspaper headlines while in the FA Cup the team were sent out in the fifth round as they failed to spank Manchester United at the Stamford ridge.

Former Chelsea star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink had this to say when asked about former side current manager Maurizio Sarri.

“He doesn’t want to step too far away from his ideas. It will take time and hopefully he will be backed by the club.

“He needs to strip it back. The balance is not right in the midfield.”

Series of humbling defeats in recent times has lead to doubts if the Italian trainer who was initially welcomed with open arms as the Blues returned to fast-paced, possession-based football upon his arrival.

Some players are said not to be happy while Chelsea’s with a rigid and automatic approach to training, with the manager’s drills designed to fast-track the group into understanding his methodology.

There are also concerns over limitations of freedom of movement on the pitch.

In addition, Former Newcastle United and England star Alan Shearer added: “From a Chelsea point of view, this manager is about to find out whether his players are ready to play for him.

As the managers woes continue the news I that three time champions winner Zinedine Zidane has handpicked to replace the Italian, however no solid agreement has been reached from both side according to new reports.

The teams latest loss to Manchester united in the FA Cup will further set the coach against his boss who might pull the trigger if a routine of excuses and shenanigans.

England national team captain Harry Kane is confident that Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi will prove his worth while he’s on international duty.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker believes that the young Blues winger will shine for the Three Lions of England despite his lack of Premier League experience.

The young Chelsea winger was promoted from the England U21 setup to the senior team on Monday by manager Gareth Southgate ahead of the Three Lions’ upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Montenegro.

In a news conference on Monday, Harry Kane revealed his confidence in the ability of Callum Hudson-Odoi as he pointed out that he has shown his quality in Three Lions’ training.

The England skipper also praised the conduct and attitude of the young players in the team.

Harry Kane has been impressed by the likes of Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Declan Rice.

Both Rice and Hudson-Odoi have been handed their first call-up to the national team.

Gareth Southgate invited 25 players to the England national team setup ahead of the aforementioned Euro 2020 qualifiers but the team has been hit by withdrawals.

Three players have had to withdraw from the England squad because of injury.

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and the Manchester City duo of Fabian Delph and John Stones pulled out of the England team as a result of injury.

Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse and the aforementioned Callum Hudson-Odoi were called up as replacements for the injured players.

A previous report had made it known that following the return of Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid as the new manager, the Frenchman is determined to bring in new stars to join the Los Blancos.

And one of the club Zidane hopes to raid in England is Chelsea, a report has made it known that he wants to sign Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante.

However, a new report has made it known that Italian giants, Juventus are ready to rival Real Madrid for France international and Chelsea midfielder, N’golo Kante in the summer transfer window.

A report made it known that the French talented midfielder is frustrated at Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri having been unable to play in his favorite spot.

However, it would be a big blow for Chelsea to lose the duo of Kante and Hazard at the same time but as far as we know Kante is yet to say anything about his transfer links to Real Madrid or Juventus.

Any club that would want to sign the French star must be ready to spend big as he only signed a new five years contract with Chelsea last year.
