Ruben Loftus Cheek could get a new role
The game between Chelsea and Burnley has taught the Blues some lessons that can help them get better than any other game they have played this season.
Chelsea FC during the game against Burnley faced some challenges in the first few minutes of the game as there was confusion in the air.
It was a good thing to see Pedro back in form having faced an injury that placed him on the sideline.
But the Spain international had hardly played for one hour before he was booted out and may have sustained another injury.
The unexpected moment came for Chelsea as there was no replacement for Pedro on the bench, Eden Hazard that could have covered the area was out of the team owing to a back injury.
Chelsea had no other option as they went on to play England international and midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek at the striker wing.
But the surprising thing was that it really paid off because not only did Loftus-Cheek handle the role well, he went on to score his fourth goal for Chelsea this season.
There are indications that Sarri may decide to give him the new role very often.
