Chelsea striker breaks record with goal
On loan Chelsea striker, Michy Batshuayi has finally scored his first goal for Spanish side, Valencia after a goalless spell since joining from Chelsea.
Brought in before the start of the new season from Chelsea, the Belgian international has not gotten enough playing time at his new club, having to come from the bench in several occasions.
Starting the game in the 2-0 loss at home to Italian champions, Juventus in the UCL a week ago, the striker was finally included in the starting lineup in his team’s 1-1 draw against Celta de Vigo.
He repaid his coach’s believe in him by scoring the only goal for his team after 25 minutes of play.
And the Belgian international’s goal was one that put him in an elite league, the goal made him the first player to score in the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1 and the Spanish La Liga.
The Belgian First Division can also be added to the list as the striker has scored there during his time in Belgium.
Swedish star, Zlatan Ibrahimovich also has that kind of goal scoring record, having scored in 5 of the top leagues: Premier League, Ligue 1, La Liga, Eredivisie and the Italian Serie A.
